THE NORDIC BRIGADE
“Nordic Roots. International Brotherhood.”
A growing international gaming regiment built on teamwork, discipline, respect, and camaraderie. Join us on the battlefield in Holdfast: Nations At War as we expand our operations into War Thunder and explore new frontiers.
ABOUT OUR REGIMENT
Operating for approximately six months, The Nordic Brigade (*Den Nordiske Brigade*) unites players who enjoy organized battles, tactical coordination, and genuine community spirit.
While our name and heraldry draw inspiration from Scandinavian military heritage, our membership is completely open to players worldwide. We combine battlefield discipline with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
We are an evolving regiment where members have a real opportunity to shape our organization, culture, and operational future.
Organized Battles
Tactical command and line discipline on the field.
Camaraderie
A respectful, inclusive atmosphere with plenty of humor.
HERALDIC EMBLEM
Our lion coat of arms stands for vigilance, strength, and unity across international borders.
OUR GAMES & DIVISIONS
Explore our active line of battle and expanding military operations.
Holdfast: Nations At War
Our flagship operational activity. We field organized lines, artillery crews, and skirmishers in large-scale Napoleonic and World War I regiment battles. Focus is placed on line discipline, volley firing, tactical coordination, and team victory.
War Thunder
We are actively establishing organized squad operations across combined arms combat: ground armor, tactical aviation, and naval vessels. We are also preparing for ground troop modes as they develop.
Arma Reforger
We are evaluating Arma Reforger for future tactical squad combat and modern military simulation events. Interest and member input will determine our formal deployment timeline.
TRAINING & REGIMENT BATTLES
Organized gaming requires structure, but we respect our members' real-life commitments above all else. Here is how we balance discipline with flexibility:
-
1–2 Events Per Month Target
Members are expected to participate in approximately 1 to 2 regiment battles or training sessions monthly in an active game.
-
Real-Life Priority Policy
Work, education, and family always come first. Simply inform officers if you will be absent for an extended period.
-
Live Announcements on Discord
All battle schedules, training rosters, and event call-ups are dispatched directly through our Discord server.
STANDARDS OF THE BATTLEFIELD
Tactical Communication
Keep voice comms clear during combat commands so orders are heard clearly.
Line Discipline
Follow officer instructions, stay in formation, and move as a unified combat element.
Mutual Support
Protect your squadmates, support allied regiments, and play for team victory.
Post-Battle Camaraderie
Celebrate wins and learn from defeats with good sportsmanship and humor.
RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT
Every soldier of The Nordic Brigade is expected to uphold these standards.
Respect and Camaraderie
Treat all members with respect. Harassment, bullying, threats, personal attacks, and deliberate attempts to make the community unpleasant are unacceptable. Disagreements must be handled constructively.
Respect for Other Regiments
Members must behave respectfully towards other regiments, players, and gaming communities. Provocation or damage to inter-regiment relations is prohibited. Your conduct reflects on us all.
Appropriate Discord Behaviour
Our Discord must remain comfortable and welcoming. Explicit, pornographic, or sexually inappropriate content is strictly prohibited. Banter is fine; harassment or crossing boundaries is not.
Participation
Members are expected to attend approximately 1–2 trainings or battles per month in active games. Communicate with leadership if real-life responsibilities cause extended absence.
Teamwork and Communication
Members must cooperate during organized activities, communicate clearly, and contribute to team goals. Differences of opinion must always be discussed respectfully.
Discipline During Events
During official battles and trainings, members must stay focused and follow command agreements. Friendly humor is welcome whenever appropriate, but line discipline comes first.
No Unnecessary Drama
Creating conflict, spreading malicious rumors, provoking members, or sabotaging regiment cooperation is unacceptable. Raise concerns constructively with leadership.
Fair Play
Members must obey game rules. Cheating, prohibited exploits, and deliberate unsportsmanlike conduct are fundamentally incompatible with regiment values.
Leadership and Consequences
Leadership addresses rule violations fairly. Actions range from warnings and temporary restrictions to removal. Severe threats or harassment warrant immediate dismissal.
Community First
We build a regiment that members genuinely enjoy being part of. We value loyalty, respect, teamwork, and camaraderie. You don't have to be the best player — you do need to be a good teammate.
NORDIC ROOTS. INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD.
The Nordic Brigade welcomes players from all corners of the world. While our identity is rooted in Nordic traditions, our community is truly international. Your nationality does not matter — what matters is your ability to communicate in English, work as part of a team, respect your fellow members, and contribute to a positive gaming environment.
All Countries Welcome
Scandi, European, or worldwide — all regions are invited.
Basic English Comms
No perfect grammar required. Clear squad cooperation is all you need.
Team First Attitude
Skill comes with time. Attitude and respect matter from day one.
